J. Rolla was one of Rodney's older brothers.
He married Effie Inger Jensen (of Idaho Falls, Idaho) in the Salt Lake Temple (Salt Lake City, Utah) on 13 Sept 1916.
Thus, she became Effie Inger Jensen Mahoney.

"Mr. Rolla Mahoney of Center and Miss Effie Jensen, formerly of Center but more recently of Idaho Falls, Idaho, were married in the Salt Lake temple a few days ago and gave a wedding dance as a reception for their friends at the Center hall last Wednesday night. They are both well and favorably known in Wasatch County where their many friends join in wishing them well."
