Young Man Called.
On Tuesday, February 22nd, Thomas Sweat, son of Mr. and Mrs. (Louis) Sweat, of Center, passed to the great beyond. Death occurred after an illness of ten days, of pneumonia.
Thomas was 22 years old and was born in Center. His untimely death in the prime of life came as a shock to his many friends in this and other communities of the valley. His clean habits and pleasant disposition made him well liked and respected by old and young alike. He has always been an active worker in the ward, holding the office of an Elder. He is survived by his father and mother, six brothers, and five sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday in the Center ward meeting house, and interment was made in the Heber city cemetery.
