DEATH: 5 Oct 2000- American Fork, Utah, Utah
He was almost 94 years old when he died.

Otis Sweat
HEBER CITY, UT- One October 5, 2000, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away in American Fork Utah.
He was born November 18, 1906 in Center Creek, Utah to Louis and Elizabeth Broadhead Sweat.  He was the 11th of 13 children.  His sister Nina Fawson of Grantsville, Utah is still living.
Otis served in the Central States Mission for the LDS Church.  He married Ora Holland of Shelley, Idaho June 9, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  She still resides in Center Creek.  He lived all his married life in the Heber City area.  He was a cattle-rancher most of his life.  He served as an LDS Bishop for 13 years as well as in many other civic and church capacities.
Otis and Ora have four children, LaRae (Hal) Jeffs of Heber, Deryl J. (Sherri) of Rock Springs, Von L. of Heber, and Jolyn (Robert) Hall of Albuquerque, NM.  He leaves 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 9, 2000, 10 a.m. in the LDS Center Ward Chapel, 2400 South Mill Road, Heber City.  Friends may call on Sunday, October 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the LDS Chapel, and on Monday from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to the services at the LDS Chapel.  Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery.

As Otis died in the last 50 years, his death certificate will not become publicly available until around the year 2050.  When it is available I will post it here.
