Elmer Ernest Mahoney was one of Rodney's older brothers.
He married Bessie Johnson (of Mora, Ada, Idaho) on 20 July 1920 in Rupert, Minidoka, Idaho.
Thus, she became Bessie Johnson Mahoney.
