He married Ora Galli (of Midway, UT) on 28 Aug 1913 in Midway, Wasatch, Utah.
Thus, she became Ora Galli Sweat.

"A wedding reception was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jos Galli last Thursday evening in honor of the marriage of their daughter Ora to Mr. Louis Sweat of Center, Bp. Coleman performing the ceremony. A large number of friends and guests were present and a very enjoyable time was had by all present. We wish the young people a long and prosperous journey thru life."
