Nancy J. Mahoney
HEBER- Mrs. Nancy J. Mahoney, 76, widow of the late Elmer C. Mahoney, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Anderson, Provo, Saturday night of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She is survived by seven children, C. Ray Mahoney, Louris V. Mahoney and Rodney E. Mahoney, all of Heber; J. Rolla Mahoney and Forest Mahoney, Salt Lake City; Ernest Mahoney, Midvale; Mrs. Thelma Anderson, Provo; two sisters, Mrs. Susy Mitchell and Mrs. Louisa Morris, Heber; a half-sister, Mrs. Eliza Moulton, Heber; a half-brother, Ed Jones, Heber; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Wasatch LDS stake tabernacle by Heber M. Rasband, bishop.

Nancy J. Mahoney Called By Death
Mrs. Nancy J. Mahoney, 76, widow of the late Elmer C. Mahoney, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thelma Anderson, in Provo, Saturday night of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was ill only a few hours.
She was born March 26, 1868 at Heber City, a daughter of Elisha and Sarah Ann Cummings Jones.
She was married February 9, 1888 to Mr. Mahoney, who died ten years ago.  She is survived by seven children: C. Ray Mahoney, Louris V. Mahoney, and Rodney E. Mahoney, all of Heber; J. Rolla Mahoney and Forrest Mahoney of Salt Lake; Ernest E. Mahoney of Midvale and Mrs. Anderson.  She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Susie Mitchell and Mrs. Louisa Morris of Heber; and a half-brother, Edward Jones of Manti, and a half-sister, Mrs. Eliza Moulton of Heber.  One son-in-law and eight of her grandsons are in the U.S. armed forces.
Mrs. Mahoney was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served as president of the Y.L.M.I.A., Sunday School teacher, president of the Center Ward Relief Society for 18 years and had been a faithful temple worker.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Wasatch Stake Tabernacle with Bishop Heber M. Rasband conducting as follows:
Prelude, Vera Rasband; duet, "In The Garden," Marjorie Provost and Blanche Anderson; invocation, E.J. Duke; remarks, Bennett Lindsay and Joseph A. Rasband; solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," Marjorie Provost; remarks, William L. VanWagoner; duet, "Beyond Today", Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith; closing remarks, Bishop Heber M. Rasband; Mrs. Vera Rasband was the accompaniest for musical numbers; benediction, Bishop Otis Sweat.  Interment was in the Heber City cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by G. Frank Ryan.  The prayer at the home was by J.W. Mahoney.
