Effie Inger Jensen Mahoney, 85, beloved wife and mother, died July 28, 1978, in a Salt Lake hospital.
Born Dec. 27, 1892, Levan, Juab County, to Charles and Lettie Christensen Jensen.  Married J. Rolla Mahoney Sept. 16, 1916, Salt Lake LDS Temple.  Graduate, BYU, school teacher, Relief Society president, PTA president, member Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Survivors, husband, Salt Lake City; sons and daughter, Mrs. George B. (Elaine) Kistiakowsky, Cambridge, Mass.; Stanford R., C. Mont, Allyn R., all Salt Lake City; C. Lynn, Berkeley, Calif.; brother and sisters, Owen M. Jensen, Ashton, Idaho; Mrs. Joseph D. (Myrtie) Armstrong, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Marion G. (Ida) Romney, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Tuesday noon, Yale LDS Ward Chapel, 1431 E. Gilmer Dr. (1000 South).  Friends may call at Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 700 South, Monday, 6-8 p.m., and 1 hour prior to services at the ward.  Burial, Lake Hills Memorial Park, Sandy.
