Death info on V Roy Walker

Victor Roy Walker was one of Emeline's brother-in-laws.

He married Emeline's older sister, Alice.

(He was also a half brother to Elmer Mahoney (Rodney's dad) but that's another story...)

DEATH: 1 Nov 1977- Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah

He was 94 years old when he died.

Victor Roy Walker
Victor Roy Walker, 94, died Nov. 1, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born March 31, 1883, Heber City, Utah to William Henry and Ada Phippen Walker.  Married Alice Sweat, Sept. 26, 1906 in Salt Lake LDS Temple.  She died Sept. 25, 1919.  Married Ida Giles, Feb 2, 1922 in Salt Lake LDS Temple.  She died Nov. 4, 1949.  Retired real estate broker.
Survivors: son and daughter; Robert L. Walker; and Mrs. Bob (Dena) Erickson, both Salt Lake City, 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.  His eldest son Victor William Walker preceded him in death.
Funeral: Thursday 11:00 a.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services.  Interment, Heber City Cemetery.
